Installation
Everything you need to go from checkout to a working chart — download, import, apply, and configure.
Download & Install
Get Your Download Link
After checkout, your download link arrives immediately by email — no waiting.
DeltaFlowprint ships as a single .zip file containing the compiled NinjaScript indicator and any add-on files. Save it somewhere easy to find — you'll import it directly into NinjaTrader 8 in the next step. If you ever lose the email, contact support and a new link is sent right away.

Import into NinjaTrader 8
One menu, one click — NinjaTrader compiles the indicator for you automatically.
Open NinjaTrader 8 and go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On. Select the .zip file you downloaded. NinjaTrader extracts and compiles the indicator in the background — this takes a few seconds. A confirmation dialog appears once it's done.

Confirm It's Installed
Check the Indicators list to verify DeltaFlowprint compiled successfully.
Right-click any chart → Indicators, then search "DeltaFlowprint" in the list. If it appears without a red compile-error icon, you're ready to add it to a chart. The whole process — download to verified install — takes under 5 minutes.

Adding It to a Chart
Apply the Indicator
Add DeltaFlowprint to any chart from the standard Indicators dialog.
Right-click your chart → Indicators → find DeltaFlowprint in the list → Add. It attaches directly to your existing candles; you don't need a special chart type to get started, though most traders switch to a footprint-friendly bar type once it's running.

Data Requirements
Standard Level 1 tick data is all DeltaFlowprint needs — no premium feed required.
DeltaFlowprint reads bid/ask trade data directly from your data feed. Level 1 is included with virtually every futures broker and prop firm, so there's nothing extra to buy. If you want to review historical footprints intraday, enable Tick Replay in your chart properties.

Choosing a Bar Type
Footprint indicators read best on Range or lower-timeframe bars — pick based on your strategy.
Time-based bars (like 5 Minute) work well for finding key levels; Range bars (like 10 or 40 Range) work well once you've zoomed into a level and want tick-level footprint detail. Most DeltaFlowprint traders run both: a higher timeframe for context, a Range chart for entries.

Templates & Quick Config
Load a Pre-Built Template
Skip manual setup — load one of the included chart templates and start trading in seconds.
DeltaFlowprint ships with pre-built templates for ES and NQ, already configured with the display mode, signal thresholds, and colors used in our own strategies. Apply one from Chart Properties → Templates, then adjust from there if you want to make it your own.

The One-Click Config Panel
Every setting lives behind a single gear icon on the chart — no nested NinjaTrader menus.
Click the FP⬡ button in the toolbar to open the full DeltaFlowprint settings panel. Switch display modes, tune signal strength, recolor highlights, or adjust thresholds — every change applies instantly, with no chart reload except for Tick Aggregation and Compact Mode.

Strategies
The exact order flow setups active futures traders use every session, and how DeltaFlowprint's signals fit each one.
Reversal Entries
Trapped Sellers at Support
Use the 5-minute chart to find a level, then drop to a Range chart to time the entry.
Find a level on the 5-minute where price has stalled before. Drop to a 10 Range footprint at that level and wait. When DeltaFlowprint's Trapped Sellers signal fires — the bar closed near its high after heavy selling — those sellers are underwater. Enter long as they start covering. Place your stop just below the trap bar's low.

Trapped Buyers at Resistance
The mirror setup — fade late buyers who got stuck at the top of a move.
When price pushes into a prior high and the Trapped Buyers signal fires — closed near the bar low after buyers were absorbed — those buyers are now losing. Short as they rush to exit. Target the next structure below, with your stop above the trap bar's high.

Absorption & Pullbacks
Spotting Absorption
Switch to Bid × Ask Profile mode to see absorption the moment it happens — not after the bounce.
When price pulls back hard into a level, normal selling would break it. If it doesn't — if the bid bars stay flat while ask bars keep printing — someone large is absorbing every offer. Bid × Ask Profile makes this visible immediately: one side of the bar stays thin while the other explodes in width.

Confirming With Buying/Selling Pressure
Add the dominance signals as a second layer of confirmation before you commit.
Buying Pressure fires when ask-dominant levels make up 60% or more of the bar (adjustable via the Strength slider). Seeing it fire at the same level where you spotted absorption turns a visual read into a rules-based signal — helpful when you want confluence, not just intuition, before sizing into a trade.

Scalps & Stop-Hunt Fades
Fading a Stop Run on NQ
The 5 Min + 40 Range combination is built for catching stop hunts as they get absorbed.
Watch for price to sweep a recent range high or low — the kind of move that's clearly hunting stops. The moment a Big Trade signal fires right at that extreme, it's a strong sign of institutional absorption of the sweep. Fade the move immediately with a tight stop just beyond the wick.

Stacking Signals for Higher Conviction
The strongest entries are where two or three signals agree at the same price and the same bar.
No single signal needs to carry the whole trade. A Trapped Buyers bar with a Sell Imbalance highlight at the same level, or a Big Trade fire inside a Selling Pressure bar, gives you layered evidence instead of a single data point. Use the Consecutive setting on highlights to filter out one-off spikes and keep only genuine clusters.

Footprint Modes
Bid × Ask Footprint
The classic footprint. Shows executed bid volume on the left and ask volume on the right of each price level.
Every cell displays the number of contracts traded at the bid (sellers) vs the ask (buyers) for that exact price. Use this to spot where aggressive participants are hitting the market. High ask volume with low bid volume signals buying aggression — and vice versa.

Bid × Ask Profile
A profile-style view that stacks bid and ask volume horizontally as a bar chart per price level.
Instead of individual numbers, volume bars give you a visual shape — making it easier to spot the Point of Control (POC) and value area distribution at a glance. Ideal for understanding market structure rather than individual trade activity.

Volume Footprint
Displays total volume (bid + ask combined) per price level without splitting sides.
Useful when you want a clean read of where volume concentrated — without the cognitive overhead of side-by-side bid/ask. POC, VAH, and VAL are auto-calculated. Best for identifying high-volume nodes that become future support and resistance.

Delta Footprint
Shows net delta (Ask volume minus Bid volume) per price level — positive means buying pressure, negative means selling pressure.
Delta is one of the most powerful signals in order flow. A large positive delta at a support level confirms buyers stepping in. A large negative delta at resistance confirms sellers defending. Delta Footprint makes this visible at every single price level.

Imbalance View
Highlights diagonal bid/ask imbalances between adjacent price levels — the footprint's most powerful signal filter.
An imbalance exists when the ask volume at one level is significantly larger than the bid volume at the level below it (or vice versa). These imbalances often indicate aggressive order flow and frequently act as future magnet levels when price returns.

Big Trade View
Isolates and highlights large individual trades in real time as they hit the tape.
When a single trade crosses your configured size threshold, it is flagged visually on the footprint. Big trades often represent institutional activity, stop hunts, or significant commitment from a single participant. Seeing them as they happen gives you a timing edge.

Profile View
A full volume profile for each bar, showing the distribution of volume across price as a horizontal histogram.
Profile View gives you the classic market profile shape — inside a footprint bar. POC, VAH, and VAL are computed automatically. Use it to identify where the market spent the most time and volume, and to anticipate where it will return.

Highlight & Zone System
Zone System Overview
DeltaFlowprint's most unique feature — automatically build support and resistance zones from real executed volume.
Instead of drawing zones by eye, you define rules and the indicator builds them for you in real time. Any combination of volume threshold, delta imbalance, or consecutive level conditions can trigger zone creation. Zones persist and update as new bars form.

Volume Threshold Rules
Create a zone whenever a price level exceeds a set volume amount.
Set a minimum volume value. Any footprint cell that trades more contracts than that threshold will trigger a highlight. Use this to automatically mark high-volume nodes — the price levels where the market has done the most business.

Imbalance Condition Rules
Trigger a zone when a cell meets a bid/ask imbalance ratio you define.
Specify a minimum ratio — for example, "flag any level where ask volume is 3× bid volume." Zones built on imbalance conditions mark areas of aggressive, one-sided order flow that frequently act as future reference points.

Consecutive Level Rules
Only trigger a zone when a condition holds across multiple adjacent price levels in a row.
Requiring 3 or more consecutive levels to meet your criteria filters out isolated spikes and highlights sustained, meaningful order flow clusters. These multi-level zones are among the strongest support/resistance areas you can find in a footprint.

Lookback & Extension Rules
Control how far back zones are created and how far they extend to the right.
The Lookback Period defines how many bars back the indicator scans for zone conditions. The Extension Rule controls whether zones extend to the current bar (live reference lines) or stop at the bar where they formed.

Custom Colors & Opacity
Each zone rule has its own fully customizable color and opacity setting.
Create a color-coded hierarchy: soft blue for mild volume nodes, orange for high-volume clusters, red for aggressive imbalance zones. Opacity control keeps zones readable without obscuring the footprint data underneath.

Heatmap & Coloring
Volume Intensity Heatmap
Color each footprint cell by its volume relative to other cells in the same bar.
The cell with the highest volume gets the darkest shade. All others are shaded proportionally. This lets you spot the POC and volume clusters instantly, without reading numbers — especially useful in fast markets.

Delta Intensity Heatmap
Color cells by net delta magnitude — how strongly bullish or bearish each level is.
Positive delta (buyers winning) gets progressively more intense bullish color; negative delta (sellers winning) gets a bearish shade. The neutral zone near zero stays light. This makes market conviction visually obvious across the entire bar.

Custom Bullish & Bearish Palettes
Choose your own color pairs for the positive and negative sides of the heatmap.
Every trader has a personal chart color scheme. DeltaFlowprint lets you set your own bullish and bearish base colors, and the indicator generates the gradient shades automatically. No more clashing with your chart background.

Auto Text Contrast
Cell text color automatically adjusts to stay readable regardless of background shade.
When a cell is dark-shaded (high volume or extreme delta), text switches to light. When the cell is light, text stays dark. You never have to manually tweak text colors when changing your palette.

Tick Aggregation
What Is Tick Aggregation?
Combine multiple raw price levels into a single footprint cell to reduce noise.
In high-volume markets like the ES or NQ, raw tick data creates hundreds of price levels per bar — making footprints visually overwhelming. Tick Aggregation groups N price levels into one cell, then recalculates all statistics (POC, VAH, VAL, delta, volume) for the merged level.

Auto POC, VAH & VAL Recalculation
Point of Control, Value Area High, and Value Area Low are recalculated after every aggregation.
Most footprint tools break their profile statistics when you change aggregation. DeltaFlowprint recomputes everything — so your POC and value area always reflect the aggregated view, not the raw tick data.

Statistics & Analytics
Bar Statistics
Per-bar summary of key order flow metrics displayed directly on the chart.
For every footprint bar, DeltaFlowprint shows: total volume, cumulative delta, POC price, VAH/VAL, and VWAP. These are displayed in a compact panel so you can read the bar's story without leaving the chart.

Summary Statistics
Aggregated statistics across your visible chart window or a defined lookback.
See cumulative delta across multiple bars, total session volume, VWAP deviation, and more — all in one panel. Use this to orient yourself to the bigger picture without switching to a different tool.

VWAP per Footprint Bar
Volume-Weighted Average Price is calculated independently for each footprint bar.
Unlike a session VWAP that stretches across the entire day, DeltaFlowprint calculates a VWAP anchored to each individual bar. This gives you the fair price for that specific auction and helps you identify where the bar closed relative to its own value area.

Real-Time Big Trade Detection
Flag large individual prints as they hit the tape — in real time.
Set a contract threshold. Any single trade that crosses it gets marked on the footprint immediately. You see the size, direction, and exact price level. Useful for detecting institutional prints, block trades, and stop-hunt sweeps.

Display & Navigation
Show/Hide Footprint Text
Toggle all cell text on or off with a single click.
When markets are moving fast, individual numbers become impossible to read anyway. Hide the text to rely on the heatmap coloring alone. Re-enable for analysis of completed bars. Controlled via the One-Click Config panel.

Adjustable Right Margin
Push the footprint bars left to create space for zone labels and annotations on the right side of the chart.
The right margin setting controls how many pixels of clear space are added between the current bar and the price axis. This gives live footprint zones room to extend forward cleanly without clipping.
